Tipo Medellin Co. celebrates vibrant Latin culture through its signature beverage brand Tipo Nela — a lightly carbonated, naturally flavored Latin tea crafted with panela, real lime, mint, and black tea. The goal of this web project was to evolve Tipo Medellin’s online presence by migrating their site into a modern platform with enhanced design, multilingual support, and e-commerce capabilities that reflect the drink’s authenticity and energetic brand spirit.


Challenges: Designing the new Tipo Medellin website involved several strategic and technical demands:

  • Migrating from WordPress to Wix without losing brand identity or functionality

  • Capturing the lively, refreshing spirit of Tipo Nela through dynamic visuals and animation

  • Supporting both English and Spanish speakers with a clear language toggle

  • Adding e-commerce functionality for direct consumer purchases
